"Koi baat nahi" my 7 year young son Shaurya says when we question him on the tasks which he hasn't done or done some mistakes. Why did you break the toy? Why are you so late? Why didn't you study? Why are you watching cartoon, tomorrow is your exam? For all these questions, an innocent reply comes from the little boy " Koi Baat Nahi". I take cues from Shaurya's life on how he is so much in the present and do not worry much about the past or future. These are the qualities of child which they forget as they grow older and become adult.
We are born to be in present but while growing we start living in past and future. As soon as Shaurya gets break from his study, he indulges himself so much in watching cartoons that it seems that he himself is in the character. And when he studies, for the initial few minutes he has to be dragged and forced to study but after the initial 10 minutes, once he understands that there is no escape, he start enjoying the study and engrosses himself. I hope I could be like him and be so focused in whatever I do.
I derive inspiration from my father and son. My father has done so much of hardship for his 4 children. I wander if I had been in his shoes, I couldn't have survived. To manage the education of four sons with limited resources seems impossible for me. But yet we survived and had a good education and yes we were happy compared to these days when it is a stressful life. Looking at my father remind me that this shall also pass. No matter how hard the situation is, if you are honest to yourself and your family, the hard times will pass. Looking at my son I hear a message from God, to live in this very second, this very moment. If yesterday was tough and you are not sure about tomorrow, Koi Baat Nahi, live in the present moment. Do your best in the present and not worry about the future.
Lets Celebrate Life. Its only once that we get this life. So lets enjoy the life to the fullest. There will never be another you and there will never be another today. So lets make full use of this today before it becomes Yesterday. Cheer up. Always keep a smile on your face, broaden your shoulders and do whatever you feel like doing. Dont be a pendulum oscillating between past and future.Always be in present.
